TechSentials Announces New Business Relationship with VariQ Corporation

CLINTON, MD - TechSentials, an independent engineering and project management consulting firm specializing in wireless telecommunications and IT services, announced today it has entered into a new business relationship with VariQ Corporation to provide wireless subject matter expertise on the seven-year task order to General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) to develop an integrated network infrastructure for the consolidated Department of Homeland Security headquarters at the St. Elizabeths campus in Southeast Washington.

VariQ is a valued GDIT small-business subcontractors on the project whose overall scope includes design, procurement, configuration, installation, testing, securing, and maintaining an integrated network infrastructure to transport all DHS voice, video, and data across the consolidated DHS headquarters campus.

GSA's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center awarded the task order to GDIT as part of the Alliant government wide acquisition contract. The task order has a ceiling of $876 million if all options are exercised.
